Kans Qila

Kans Qila is located on the banks of the Yamuna river. Though the old fort presently lies in ruins, in its heyday, it was the home of the demon, Kansa, the maternal uncle of Lord Krishna. The fort is built over a large area and has highly fortified walls. The structure reflects a beautiful blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural styles.
